Cambridge Is a Nice Place to Live Don't be Fooled - 11/12/2013
Don't believe what this person is saying Freddy4, Senecaville, OH Noah Senecaville, OH it's the same person. Cambridge Ohio has a really high crime rate most of the crime happens outside of town by the freeway. There are a couple bad areas in Cambridge but all towns have that problem.Cambridge Ohio was voted the Best Small Town in Ohio 2010 and yes it still needs work to be done but it's getting there. We still have tour buses coming through for Xmas for the shopping and the great small town Read More

This Town Is Disgusting - 5/10/2013
I don't think I could possibly imagine a worse town than this. There is crime like you would not believe. My friend's dad actually was killed because they owned a house here, someone set their house on fire, and he was inside of the house when it was burned. Arson is a terrible thing. I myself have actually been assaulted in Cambridge, and I am constantly receive threats from the locals involving being raped or killed. Many of the residents are bitter, angry people. At least 25% of the houses are completely abandoned. Believe it or not, the median income here is lower than that of Detroit, Michigan's. This town, in a lot of ways, is actually worse off than Detroit. You just get tired of seeing nothing but abandoned, rotting houses and Project buildings. The population of the town is only about 10,600 people, but there are at least 5-10 violent crimes per day. I don't even pay attention to the property crimes anymore, and I can't even tell you how many times my money and Read More

Let's See... - 4/24/2013
Hey Peg, sorry if u took what i was saying the wrong way. Even though I'm not from the Cambridge area, I totally hope the economy gets better down here. But if you look at the Religion topic on this site for Cambridge you will see that the religious population is at 33.90%, while the national average is 48.78%. But unfortunately, this is not just in Cambridge these days. I really hope that the oil they're finding will give this area a revival. I have just lately had some extremely bad experiences with some locals, and I certainly hope no one else is having this problem. The crime rate can certainly be fixed with jobs in the fracking industry, if the Democrats don't stop all the fun before it even Read More

Cambridge, Ohio is a great place to live. - 3/30/2013
I just read a review from Noah in Senecaville saying that Cambridge is a bad place to live, but I've lived in Cambridge all of my life and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Because of the slow economy, the crime rate has increased but most definitely isn't even close to being the highest in the state. As with any community in the nation, we have our problems, but we have so many more positives. Our schools were recently recognized as being among the top, academically, in the state. We have a church on pretty much every corner and thousands of wonderful Christains and many Christain outreaches. Our pay scale may not be the highest in the nation, but Jobs & Family Services makes sure that no one has to live in poverty. Our city government, police dept and fire dept are all top notch. There are lots of sports programs for our youth w/many caring adults who volunteer their time and talent to teach and coach them, and the local facilities are outstanding (including our schools, Read More

Stay Away From Here - 3/14/2013
Okay, this city is BAD. Crime rates are some of the highest IN THE NATION. This city has DRASTICALLY higher crime rates than towns 5 times its own size. Cambridge is so bad, that even though it is a town of only about 10,000 people, the police force has to have its own Bomb Squad(there was recently a massive holdup in downtown, where several explosives were found in various buildings), a SWAT team, and a separate Special Force team. There are many abandoned barns and houses in the area, and I have heard that devil worshippers conduct black masses inside of them. Many buildings are foreclosed and defiled by vandals. Once-beautiful historical figures are now covered in obscene and vulgar graffiti. This town is in VERY BAD shape. Property crime is possibly the worst in the state. Violent crime is rampant(murders and assaults are extremely common, on an almost everyday basis.) Most people are unfortunately living in horrendous poverty, and the school system consistently falls Read More
