Nice suburb - 3/7/2007
Very inexpensive to live here in Fairview. Close to the airport and shopping, esp Great Northern Mall. Crocker Park is only 15 min away as well.

Good schools, that's about it - 4/28/2006
I grew up in Fairview Park, moved away, then returned as as adult with children of my own. I found the quality of education to be quite good. I have a daughter with mild special ed needs and felt she was provided excellent services. On the negative side, Fairview Park has a large difficulty with it's proximity to the Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Airport noise, etc. Also, the air quality was distinctively bad with noticeable odors prevalent at many times. Not sure where these came from... The people I came into contact with were not open to new ideas or people it seemed. Many things still done "old school" in terms of Catholic church life. Prejudicial attitudes widespread. Older community with lots of great services for the elderly.
We eventually moved away again due to many of the things I mentioned above. Guess a good school system couldn't rise above the other
