Hudson, OH is a charming city located in Summit County. It is known for its historic architecture, quaint downtown area, and beautiful natural scenery. Popular attractions in the area include the Western Reserve Greenway Hiking Trail, Hudson Springs Park, and First & Main Hudson Shopping Center. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities from paddling on the Cuyahoga River to biking the Towpath Trail. With excellent restaurants, shops, entertainment venues, and galleries throughout town, there's something for everyone in Hudson.

I lived in Hudson for 25 years. It's a wonderful place to raise a family. It has great public schools and an outstanding prep school in Western Reserve Academy. Crime is almost non-existent, although from time to time you may read about someone's mailbox getting run over or a dog barking after 8:00 PM. It is picturesque, with many beautiful places to spend leisure time such as Hudson Springs Park or Barlow Farm Park. It's close to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park where the hiking/running trails stretch forever.

The town is highly educated and its residents tend to be financially better off than most.

Its downtown area is very active with many boutique shops and restaurants. You may note that downtown is void of electric signs, with most merchants choosing wooden ones. Hudson provides a great school system, reasonable cost of living, excellent state park system with bike and hike trails throughout, lots of cultural activity, and access to two airports and three major sports teams. Cleveland offers the attractions of a big city without the congestion and frenzied pace. Great place to Read More
