Madeira is typically Midwestern: slightly conservative - politically, fiscally, and socially. It is safe to walk all areas of town and frequently, neighbors wave and still say "Hello." We have an excellent school system and a broad variety of housing types, everything from apartments to McMansions, but most are moderate, single-family homes.
