Nice little town with friendly people - 7/11/2009
Having lived about six miles from Mifflin for many years, I can honestly say that it is a nice small town. If you like the laid back lifestyle and can see yourself fishing quite often, this is the town for you. The only drawback is that the reservoir, due to its shallow depth, limits boat motors to 10 horsepower. There are campgrounds and canoe liveries within easy driving range through the picturesque countryside.
