Solon is a great place to raise a family. We have excellent schools! An elementary class size is approx 22 students. A graduating class size is approximately 400 students. The high school has many honors and advanced placement classes. Almost 100% of grads are college bound. We have a wonderful new recreation center with indoor and outdoor pools, gym, indoor track, weight machines, etc. Great recreation programs for all ages all year round. Lots of sports. Housing is very reasonable and it is currently a buyers market. There is very little crime here. We are about 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland should you want to go there. We have a great metro park system, lots of bike/horse trails. The only downside is the weather and the economy. Not much economic growth happenening in the Northeast Ohio area, but we have great hospitals and they are exanding (Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals of Cleveland). The weather is great for about 7 months and is pretty grey and cold Read More
