Easy Living - 2/23/2008
Life here is calming. You can live comfortably without making a whole lot of money. Life here isn't about money - it's about living. High School football is an activity of the whole community, as is the High School music program.

People may complain that it's a sleepy area, with not much going on, but the fact is that if you are wanting to do something, there is always something to do.

St. Clairsville is nestled in the hills of eastern Ohio. It has been named "Pardise on the Hill" by the town council. St. C parallels I-70 and sits within eyesight of the Ohio Valley Mall and the Ohio Valley Plaza which provide shopping for most people's needs. Wheeling, WV is only nine miles to the east, while Pittsburgh, PA is only 75 miles east. Columbus, OH is 120 miles to the west, while Cleveland is only 150 miles to the north. All cities are accessible via interstate highways. St Clairsville offers a wide range of educational opportunities. It is the home of Ohio University Eastern and Belmont Technical College.
