Nothing Exiting about Edmond Oklahoma - 3/10/2020
I moved here from Boulder County Colorado in 2004 and regret ever becoming trapped in this Boring , conservative town . Been stuck working retail here since I don’t drive and not much Manufacturing here compared to all the places I’ve lived in Oregon , Southern California and Colorado. Public transportation is free in Edmond but only operates a few hours during weekdays . Need a car to survive . Edmond full of ignorant racist Obama Haters but they still go to church twice a week . I think all Oklahomans including criminals and Drug addicts go to some Protestant service Wednesday nights , more churchgoers than on Sunday it seems . Nothing else to do in dull and depressing Edmond Oklahoma Read More

Air Quality - 5/7/2016
I've lived in Edmond all my life and always had fresh air to breathe. No longer is that the case. We get aerosol spraying of chemicals and heavy metals almost daily from the air to manage the weather. There has only been 8 days so far in 2016 that we had not been sprayed. If you care about the health of yourself or your family, please reconsider. Read More

You get what you pay for. - 7/21/2014
Outsiders envy our cost of living as we envy everyone else's weather. Since there are only a few weeks worth of days per year that are tolerable outside our lower cost housing is necessary. $300k will get you lots of house to escape into for the majority of the Read More

Three Season State - 7/29/2012
Edmond, OK has four seasons. Staring w/Fall it has all the good memories that it brings: Long Indian Summer, hues of oranges, browns, and yellows, leaves falling, lots of leaves on the ground, porches, and drive-ways both for fun, play, and everybody raking leaves, nippy cool and cold weather to be cozy and light the fireplace to smell wood-burning to watch all the football teams flags in yards, on people, in stores, and on t.v. More? O.K. Halloween memories of the past, because Edmond citizens are big on decorating their yards and doors for both Halloween and Fall w/pumkins, pumpkins, pumpkins, and even spiders!

Winter too, has all the memories that it brings in three seasons state: "snow". Except from 2008 to now Edmond has had a lot of snow and even snow storms w/many power outages. It is recommended that if you have a natural wood fireplace to stock pile lots of wood in the spring and early summer when trees are being cut and pruned. The wood is also more inexpensive Read More

Edmond is a very nice town. It has a lot of nice places to go, and I feel safe enough here to actually walk around town. It has the feel of a small town but it has two colleges here so it really is not small Read More

Beautiful and low cost living - 10/31/2010
the title says it all. I've lived in (and around) Detroit, St. Louis, Sacramento and parts of France and Belgium. I can't speak for the rest of Oklahoma, but my wife and I love Edmond. The elementary school is wonderful, the climate is great, and it's actually green (interspersed with red Read More

Edmond, OK - 4/25/2010
Edmond is one of the larger cities in Oklahoma, so there's quite a bit to do. With only about 30 minutes between there and Oklahoma City, the possibilities are endless. The malls are the biggest and most known places to go, but if you do your homework, you're bound to find all kinds of places and attractions to be involved with and enjoy. Read More
