El Reno, OK is a vibrant community located in Canadian County. It's a great place to visit with its many attractions and activities, including the Route 66 Museum, which showcases the history of El Reno's historic past. Other attractions include over 20 antique stores, a drive-in movie theater, golf courses and more. There's also plenty of delicious local cuisine to try out as well as shopping centers with unique finds. The city has something for everyone, making it an ideal destination for families and travelers alike.
Those who have visited El Reno often rave about the hospitality they have experienced from the locals as well as the variety of activities available to do in the town. Visitors appreciate how clean and safe El Reno is and love that there are so many things to explore within walking distance. People are also impressed by how much charm this little city has and relish in its unique atmosphere that can’t be found anywhere else. All in all, El Reno is an amazing place to visit - you won't regret it!

Best Town - 12/19/2010
I have lived in El Reno, Ok for 44 years. It is a very nice town to live in with alot of events going on throughout the year. It is not a perfect town, we have had our share of crimes but that happens everywhere. Overall, it is a cool town to live in and low cost compared to others. Cheap, if you can afford it. - 6/30/2007
Simply put, the cost of living is very low, and that leads to neighborhoods that are run-down and even decrepit in certain areas. My house sits on the edge of the best and worst that we have here. I fenced my yard well and stockaded; put in a nice and mean dog. I look out my windows on neighbors that are middle-class and scared of the low-class punks that sometimes walk the street; just passing through, we hope. The police will respond to calls of prowlers and vandals, but usually just a bit late to catch anyone. I haven't been hit with burgulary or violence since I learned to keep security tight.
If a low cost of living is necessary for you and you plan to raise children, I'm sure that you could do alot worse than El Reno, OK.
But if you are well educated and expecting upward mobility, you'll probably do better in the western Read More
