Yukon, Oklahoma is a small town located just west of the bustling city of Oklahoma City. It has a rich history as one of the oldest cities in the state and a vibrant community. There are plenty of things to do in Yukon, including hiking and biking trails, shopping and dining options, parks and outdoor recreation, historical sites, and more. It also hosts several events throughout the year such as festivals, concerts, special holiday celebrations, parades, and more. Residents of Yukon enjoy their hometown's peaceful atmosphere while having easy access to all that Oklahoma City has to offer.

I’m originally from Texas but I’ve lived here for around 8 years now. I love how Yukon has that small-town feel to it, yet it’s only 20 minutes from downtown OKC. It’s homey but not in the middle of nowhere. Strangers are super friendly, and Main St is lined with local businesses. The only reason I took off one star is because recently a lot of fast food/chain restaurants and big corporations have been popping up around town, which just feel completely unnecessary. I lived in Yukon for nearly four years. Amazingly has a small town feel, yet only minutes from downtown Oklahoma City. Yukon is sort of a secret suburb of OKC.
