One good thing I can say is, Clatskanie being on the west end of Columbia County, doesn't get the heavy wind that can accompany the heavy rain in neighboring Clatsop County. It's in a lower spot between two steep hills. Meaning while gnarly weather can play havoc in Astoria and Portland, your big trees will stay
