Anywhere but here - 6/3/2016
Harrisburg is where you go to die. Seriously! There is no life to be had here. There is nothing here to do. They don't even have something as small and simple as a red box!! You either have to drive to Eugene or Corvallis to have a life. The water here stinks. It stinks when you run a load of laundry, when you shower, or just run water in the sink. This water smells like b.o. or poop. Oh, and have fun drinking the water! It tastes terrible too. This town has no charm and feels like a ghost town. The road quality is bumpy and bad. You can tell where the Lane County line ends and starts. You go from nice smooth Lane County roads to bumpy roads that induce car sickness. I moved here to save money on rent from Eugene's rental prices. That was a HUGE mistake. I'd rather be broke in Eugene than alive in Harrisburg. Do yourself a favor and live ANYWHERE but Read More

Water Quality on review page - 6/16/2008
The water quality is listed as a 60 and if you lived here you would know it is a complete "0".

Sometimes the water is actually as brown as tea! It tastes so bad that most of us use bottled water for everything including our pets; it gets very expensive when you have to use bottled water for coffee and all cooking. I was told that a recent investigation found 18 agricultural chemicals in the water. It also has a bad smell most of the time.

I had a perm {in my hair} just before I moved here and in a week my hair was straight. When you wash your hair with this water it feels "slimy" and it looks strange after it's dry.

If I had known about the water I never would have moved here...unfortunately it seems to be a fact about Harrisburg that is well hidden no matter how hard you search the web. I have lupus and MS and this water is a serious health risk for me since my kidneys are already damaged by these diseases.
