Ontario, OR is a small city in the Treasure Valley of Eastern Oregon. Despite its modest size, it is known for its abundance of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping. It's also known for its many festivals throughout the year, including an annual Fourth of July celebration. The city has a few restaurants, shops, and attractions such as historic buildings and art galleries. Ontario is a great place to live and visit if you are looking for an unforgettable experience in the outdoors.

Ontario Oregon is full of illegal immigrants who refuse to learn English and leach off the welfare system the police and ice refuse to deport these criminals Meth use and drug trafficking are also major problems in Ontario Oregon poverty is rampant and the city is also broke there are stabbings and shootings on a regular basis for such a small town there are not enough funds to fix the city’s roads and crumbling infrastructure and most the employment opportunities in Ontario are very low paying jobs that require you to do very hard on the back physical farm or factory work upwards of 12 hours a day 6 days a week with illegal immigrants takeing up most the labor force on Star island in Ontario in the snake river there is a homeless camp shop lifting and begging at the local Walmart seems to be a source of income for the homeless in Ontario the city water has high levels of arcinic in it that are cancer causing and have long term damaging health effects on people who live there and Read More

In reply to "Crime in Ontario," It's too bad that when a Hispanic culture moves in to a nice little town, your crime rate goes up and property values go down.
And they wonder why many of us are apprehensive and resistant about their culture.

I moved to Ontario when I was in high school. While there are several choices for elementary schools as well as a bilingual thriving charter school for children through fifth grade. There is a hospital in town and a community college that in the past has worked with high schoolers to get their associates degree at the same time as their hs diploma. It has been a few years since I was there so I am not sure if they still have that program going.

However, I was not particularly impressed with the rest of the town. There is a mall with two shops in it: sears and honks $1 store. The mall has plenty of space for other shops but nobody wants to lease space there. Also, coming from a county that prided themselves in education it was a hard blow to find that this town is the Malhuer County seat and yet they can hardly keep their tiny library open for a few hours a day, let alone hours when people can actually visit it.
