Wonderful place to live - 4/21/2017
Warren is the tiny gem of Columbia County. It's a wonderful place to live - bucolic, quiet, friendly, safe, and possessing a great sense of community. Neighbors watch out for each other, everyone waves and smiles, people walk and jog. It's becoming more and more a bedroom community of Portland which isn't a bad thing especially considering it has one of the best commutes in the area - a fairly low trafficked highway with beautiful views along the river. There's no town center but Scappoose and St. Helens are within a few miles. Each of these towns has a library, a few cafes/restaurants, grocery stores, etc. What I love most besides great neighbors is having the best flat water kayaking right here.

The cons of the area are:
No really good restaurants
40+ minute drive on Hwy 30 to get to Portland. It's just too long a drive to make going out to a show or to dinner really worth it, especially if you're already commuting every day.
