Nasty, nasty, nasty Move there go down hill! - 9/27/2010
Well, from our point of view, if one moves to Chambersburg Pa. they go down hill! My Son moved there three years ago, he came from two metro areas Los Angeles and Also Las Vegas.
After his moving to Chambersburg everything went down hill. They seem to be quite the stat for not having jobs, not having anything for the people. No Culture whatsoever, it is the WORST town I have ever experienced.
Every one seems to be poor, and depressed. In my opinion CHAMBERSBURG STINKS.
in LOS ANGELES the beach communities PAY IS GREAT AND THE CITIES ARE BEAUTIFUL, you can feel good about living there. Also Las Vegas, the pay is great, and the rent is pretty reasonable you can also feel pretty good about living there......less stress....Chambersburg is a welfare state in our opinions, it is depressing, and if you weren't born and raised there (then forget it)! Who would want to be born there...lol forget that crap. The people there are like in CULTS. Ignorant and afraid of Read More

The population is increasing, developments are mushrooming, but the roads remain secondary and as they were 50 years ago. Because of this, we confronted traffic jams just about anywhere we went in the area. Although we have thought of returning when we retire, we now have serious second thoughts. Although taxes are a bit higher in the Seattle area, they serve to improve the infrastructure and the quality of Read More
