Beautiful Western Pa! - 11/18/2009
The last person to comment obviously had a bad experience here. I love it here. Yes, jobs are scarce, but not impossible to find. Besides, jobs are hard to find in almost any part of our country right now. I grew up here, but have lived in many other places. I came back to knox because I missed the caring people and the beauty of western pennsylvania. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to visit or reside, check it out for yourself! Avoid!!! - 12/4/2006
White trash heaven. If you don't hunt or gossip, there is nothing for you to do here or anywhere else in western PA. There is zero culture, with bookstores few, libraries struggling, bars plentiful, music country or nothing.
Saddest of all, is the amount of racism, sexism, and homophobia. There is a lot of hatred here, and with the gun nuts (I'm for the second Amendment, but these people are extremeists)you don't want to come here.
There are no jobs. If you make $30,000, you are considered rich here.
If you are into health, these folks drink and smoke like there is no tomorrow, and load every meal up with various pork products.
The positive is that it does have the northeastern country beauty.
Avoid western PA.
