A look at Paris - 2/9/2022
I grew up in Paris (1948-1970). Great place to grow up. Return as often as I can. We did most of our shopping in Weirton, W.Va. Route 22 used to be a main road to Pittsburgh but around 1968 a four-lane divided highway was built, bypassing the Paris residential area. Depending on traffic you can be in downtown Pittsburgh in 30-45 minutes. Pittsburgh Airport is even closer. From Paris, you can be in three states in less than 10 minutes: Paris, Pa., through Weirton, W.Va. into Steubenville, Ohio. District high school is in Burgettstown.
