Murrells Inlet is one of the fastest growing areas on the east coast.
Regardless of your origin, race, orientation or skillset you are warmly welcome!
Despite what some reviews might imply; a majority of our population are well educated, friendly migrants from larger cities that simply want to live better.
This is the home of Tidelands medical, and many new medical centers are opening
along with several technology industries. Our residential and commercial properties have doubled in value in just a few years. People are moving here en-mass, and not just retirees. Although prices are going up rather quickly. Read More

Smiling Faces...Not so Friendly Places - 11/25/2010
Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach..very pretty, but dont move there unless you like 13.5% unemployment, racial and gender prejudice, and dont..repeat dont move there is you have lived anywhere above the Mason/Dixon line..they hate you and will do what they can to let you know it.. Everyone I know who moved there from the north wish they had not. If you want to move to the Carolina coast, I suggest NC coast or at least North Myrtle Beach.
