Just NO - 6/6/2021
After 6 years here, I can say this is not a good place to be. Mostly backwards, outdated thinking from anyone you encounter. People here are suspicious of outsiders and unfriendly. The climate is oppressive with limited activities. A dull city surrounded by big counties filled with crime.

Charming and friendly! - 3/1/2020
I love living in North Augusta! We have a wonderful, tight knit in our small town. The river and riverfront are absolutely gorgeous and it's a great place to hike, walk, kayak, and paddle board. We have great community, great restaurants, and great schools. There's a lot of young families moving into the new developments, but also people who have lived here their entire lives in the historic homes. Really like it here--lived in HHI before (WAY too expensive). Small town feel but with big city right across the river. Does have some of that small-town gossip going on, but if you can ignore it and rise above, you'll love it
