Mediocre Southern Burg - 7/22/2018
I lived in the general Salem area for a year and a half. Being a "Yankee" I was treated with either indifference or outright hostility. Things I liked were little traffic related problems, affordable housing, country atmosphere. Things I didn't like, unfriendly people, humid summers, hunters randomly shooting game anywhere they chose, poor quality of schools, lack of cultural activities.
