My hometown, ruined... - 2/2/2019
This used to be a great place, now its like one of those 80's TV show corrupt small towns - especially law enforcement, PD and County. If you have to go to this corrupt bigoted town, do NOT go to a motel in town - if you do, dont go anywhere between 11pm and 4am because you WILL be pulled over and searched, you WILL be presumed guilty of buying or selling drugs, and no matter you say you ARE a LIAR. Thats just one example of how it is there. This was my hometown, now im leaving and NEVER going

Jasper School System - 9/8/2009
The Jasper School System is a joke. My kids went their for 2 years. The lake of teachers willing to actually teach a child is disgusting. One of my children did not pass the sixth grade from the lack of education she was receiving. After spending a lunch our with my daughter I realized it was being ran like a prison. Teachers and students were rude. It seems as if some of the teachers were only there to hand out assigments and collect a paycheck, NOT teach. I would get letters suggesting I teach my daughter how to do her lessons (because they couldn't) My kids have been to several diiferent schools throughout their life and this was the only one where they've EVER had to attend ISS (in school suspension) sometimes even after school. The secretary at Rowe was prejudice against anyone who was not african american. I've tried talking with the principle, I've tried talking with the super-intendent. I might as well have been talking to a wall. So I REFUSE to ever let my children step
