Liberty, TX is a small town in East Texas of around 5,000 people. Despite its size, it has a lot to offer to visitors and locals alike. What housing? - 11/11/2016
Most housing here is owned by skum lords who will find an RV for $500 and rent it out $600 a month. None of the housing I have seen have properly working amenities or solid roofs. Many contain bed bugs and roaches and rodent problems. The cost to rent in Liberty is that of anywhere else. It is not at all cheaper to live here. Average rent $700. job growth is a joke - 11/10/2016
Job growth consists of Walmart Mc Donalds and gas stations which none offer livable wage and do offer the worst employment environment. Being the majority of the workforce are with Walmart the majority of Liberty rely on public assistance. The Government is not for the people but for themselves and they make sure they stand unopposed during elections. They are also completely for the idea of eminent domain giving subdivisions to big shot developers who create the ugliest dwellings at $300,000 and up when the average family earns 15000.00 Read More
