Just move to Fort Worth if you're considering RO - 12/15/2022
Do not move here. The houses are cheap for a reason. This "city" is so poorly ran and there's nothing to do here unless all of your free time is dedicated to children. My utilities bill keeps increasing despite there being little improvement made to infrastructure. Residents aren't given curbside trash cans (and you can get fined for having bags of trash outside if it's earlier than 6pm the day before pickup) and there's no recycling here anymore, which makes me wonder why they have the audacity to raise our prices. Apparently it's because River Oaks uses Fort Worth's utilities and raises prices on residents despite not giving us the same resources for the same cost as FW. The roads are terrible. They never get worked on and when they do, it takes forever. Most of the repairs are "temporary". Zero urgency from the local government.
