Concern for my hometown - 9/16/2008
I grew up in Winters and I don't mean any harm but hope to inspire some improvement. Recently I had cause to wander the streets in search of a rental and was taken aback due the deterioration of the neighborhoods. All the delapitated homes that once stood in grandure make me sad. I don't know about the city's finances and such but I pray for my hometown every day. I blue for my Read More

city with potential? - 7/29/2008

A Friendly little town - 12/29/2006
We moved to Winters, Texas in 1998 and have enjoyed some of the most friendly people alive. We have served on City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Museum and currently on the Industrial Board. We have four RV hook-up spaces right off main street where visitors may park for up to three nights free. We also have a Golf course and lake nearby. Our Museum features one of the largest Glass pitcher collections in the US and our library is recently remodeled. All-in-all it is a great place to retire to or a great place to raise a family. Persons requesting further information may contact Randall Conner, the Industrial Board Director or email me at Read More
