Hyrum, UT is a small city located in the northern part of Utah. It is a peaceful town with an estimated population of 5,000. The town has some great attractions to visit, including the Hyrum State Park and the Wasatch-Cache National Forest which offer excellent hiking and camping opportunities. Hyrum is known for its friendly locals and strong sense of community spirit, and it's easy to see why people enjoy living in this quaint area.

Family-Friendly - 3/9/2007
If you just want to raise a family in a clean, safe, and friendly environment, without paying an arm and a leg, then Hyrum is the place for you. There are great recreational opportunities with the mountains and canyons just a couple miles away. The city requires fairly good minimum lot sizes (.28 acre per home), so that housing density isn't going to be an issue. And you're far away from the big cities enough to breathe the cleaner air, and actually have your kids know what a cow looks like. But you still have the university a few miles away, and plenty of fun things for families to do.
