Summers can be really hot, into the hundreds for a few days, but with low humidity, one can always escape into the shade. The winters are cold, with January definitely being the coldest. Only for a few days does the low hit the single digits. Spring and Fall are very enjoyable. It is not uncommon to have what is known as an "indian summer." Provo is a nice place to live, its getting more crowded it seems but there is so much to do here if you are an outdoors person, the mountains are so close and so big and beautiful, you can ride your bike, go hiking take your motorcycle on cool trails and jumps, go off roading in your 4 wheel drive, go rock climbing, river rafting, camping, horse back riding, target shooting, hunting, snow boarding or skiing in the winter. It's awsome there is always something for you to do!!! Provo also has it's well known center street with unique little shops, delicious resturants from Italian to Mexican, Japenese food, Cajun, And Barbeque restaurants...
