What is a dog owner to do. - 7/30/2008
My two dogs are liscensed, neutered, and leashed when we take a walk. I always carry bags and scoop after my dogs. Today I had someone greet me with hostility because my dogs like to urinate on a plant. I don't know how I can stop my dogs from doing that when other dogs have been there, I don't even know the woman, only that she told me I should just take my dogs to the park. Guess what, her street is on the way to the park.
I called the Sunset police because this woman seemed threatening; "I know you live on the next block," she said. I called the non-emergency line and explained what happened and asked if I had done wrong. The officer I spoke to said I was in the right.
All I want is to be left alone. Most houses in this area do not have fences in the front yard. Furthermore, there are no parking strips, those small stretches of grass that are closer to the sidewalk. I pay my taxes, obey the laws, don't annoy my neighbors. All I want to do is
