"Don't eave California to move to Vermont in Decem - 10/14/2018
I was 11years old when our family moved from North Hollywood, California, December, 1960, for the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont. My father was very sick and was told by his doctor, that he needed to make a " drastic " change in his lifestyle. At this time, my Aunt and Uncle, who were in the film industry, we're working on Alfred Hitchcock's movie, " The Trouble With Harry " being filmed in East Burke, Vermont. So as I remember, we picked up and packed up and flew my dad and three dogs to Vermont and crammed my mom, two sisters and me into a brand new '60's Corvaire Monza and headed east. Five days later, we arrived in Bennington, Vt. During the worst winter snow storm in " thirty-two " years. It was the Most Beautiful sight, for an eleven-year old California kid, like me, to ever see.
