Rutland, VT is a small town located in the beautiful state of Vermont. With a population of just over 16,000 people, Rutland offers a peaceful atmosphere and plenty of things to do. The downtown area features several restaurants and shops that offer unique experiences for visitors. Visitors can also take advantage of the nearby trails for hiking and biking or enjoy the many water activities such as fishing, canoeing, and kayaking on Lake Bomoseen nearby. As well as all these recreational activities, Rutland is known for its scenic views and vibrant art culture.
The reviews of Rutland are overwhelmingly positive with visitors raving about the friendly locals and picturesque scenery. Many travelers mention that they had no problems getting around town or finding attractions to occupy their time with many free outdoor activities available. Some visitors have even found themselves wanting to stay longer due to how welcoming the community is.
