Great place to live as Fairfax county allows archery hunting on any size acreage. Plenty of whitetail deer roaming about eating your shrubs make tasty treats. Whitetail season runs from September through March. I hunt in my back yard and shoot a couple of deer every

Northern Virginia is awesome - 6/19/2006
Hi.
We've lived in Northern Virginia for 8 years. We love just about everything about it, except for the cost of living and the traffic. The public school system is wonderful. Our daughter attends a Spanish immersion program at a public school in Reston. After three years, she can carry on conversations in Spanish, and her state test scores have been very good.
