What BestPlaces Users Say about Edmonds

Edmonds, Washington is a small coastal city located just 15 miles north of Seattle. It is known for its picturesque views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, as well as its charming downtown area filled with local shops and restaurants. With a population of just over 40,000, Edmonds offers a tight-knit community feel. However, as with any place, there are both positive and negative aspects of living there. Here are excerpts from four different user reviews about living in Edmonds, providing a well-rounded perspective on the city.

1. From "Jennifer P.": "I absolutely love living in Edmonds. The views are breathtaking, the people are friendly, and the community events are always so much fun. It's a great place to raise a family and feel connected to your neighbors."

2. From "Mark S.": "While Edmonds is a beautiful place, it's definitely not without its flaws. The cost of living is quite high, and traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. Plus, the lack of diversity can feel limiting at times."

3. From "Samantha K.": "I moved to Edmonds a few years ago and I have to say, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The schools are top-notch, the parks are well-maintained, and the downtown area is full of character. I never want to leave."

4. From "David M.": "I've lived in Edmonds my whole life and while I appreciate the small town feel, it can also be a bit suffocating. There's not much to do for young adults and the job market is limited. I'm considering moving to a larger city for more opportunities."
