Come and peaceful yet still a busy little town - 10/8/2021
My husband and I have lived in Plymouth for over a year now. My husband is a very big city guy. He was born in Yonkers, New York, and spent many years in New Orleans. That being said, I had trepidations when we moved here because the town was on a much smaller scale then what my husband is used to. But the move to Plymouth, Wi, for my family, was the best move we could have ever done. We love this place. It is so calm and peaceful yet still a busy little Read More

Plymouth Disgrace - 5/31/2021
If you are not from here do not come here!!!! More importantly if you have children in sports do not move here, they will not see the field/court or anything like most gifted children that move here their interest in sports will be crushed regardless of talent. If you are from here and your in the "in" crowd stay here so your white privilege stays in Plymouth. At a basketball game this past season you hear the parents of the "in" crowd brag about how their child is being groomed for high school sports, along with the rest of the team. So if your child is better don't worry they will weed them out. Soccer even worse when you move from another area and your child dominates the local children they will not play so the local children do not look bad even if they are. Sit and watch tryouts and see the talent level and your kid embarrass a local they won't make the team. Baseball has the worse for middle school boys last year, they make an A team and B team put all of the talent on Read More

Plymouth...my new hometown! - 6/8/2009
I moved to Plymouth about 13 years ago, when remarrying my husband who has lived here for over 35 years. (He grew up in N CA and I grew up south of Milwaukee, WI.)
This is a very pleasant, scenic, friendly and safe community. We really do like it! We are only minutes to many lakes, including Lake Michigan; have excellent schools; right now we are seeing a slump in the job & housing markets, but normally our diverse industries have been very healthy; we have wonderful area arts programs, medical care, shopping...and if we cannot find it within 15 miles, Metro Milwaukee area offers tons more!
This really is a great place to raise a family!Read More
