Read Before Moving Here - 5/24/2021
Prairie du Sac (PDS) is a village about 25 miles north of Madison and just south of the waterpark capital of the U.S., the Wisconsin Dells. Being in between these two places give your amusement fun and city amenities. However, the 30 minute drive to Madison isn't very convenient as it's an hour round trip for whatever you're doing there. PDS is a pretty place located on the Wisconsin river. The downtown area is kept, but could be a lot more entertaining considering it's waterfront. Eating options are few. There's your standard Wisconsin bar/grills, and some local establishments. I don't recall any chain sit down restaurants. PDS is the home of Culver's which is fun, but Culver's OWNS the town. Aside from McDonald's (which was there before Culver's), Subway, and Pizza Hut there are no other fast food options! Taco Bell? They were coming and then Culver's bought the land out from under them!
