Weyauwega, WI is a small town located in Waupaca County, with a population of around 1,811 people. The town is known for its historic downtown area and its proximity to several lakes such as Poygan, Winneconne, and Butte Des Morts. Tourists to Weyauwega will find a variety of activities available such as camping and fishing at Lakes Poygan and Winneconne, visiting local shops and restaurants in the downtown area, golfing at the Weyauwega Golf Course, or attending one of the many festivals held in town throughout the year.

For anyone wondering, this is definitely not the b - 6/27/2007
If you like a city atmosphere, even anything relatively close, don't move to this town. To be completely honest, theres not even a good reason to VISIT this town. We have no theaters, no real attractions, one grocery store, two gas stations, 5 bars off the top of my head, 3 cheese factories, one with a storefront, one real park, but its right next to the freeway, so that isn't exactly a QUIET place to go. Our main body of water is Weyauwega Lake/Weyauwega Mill Pond which is apart of the Waupaca river. It really is not much of an attraction even for fishermen. Its got a terrible weed problem on the west side and a muck and scum problem on the east side. That is basically Weyauwega in a nutshell if you've never been here, but after reading this, I'm not sure you're going to make a point of it either. To any residents of this town who are reading it, I have no doubt you agree, and if you don't, even if this is your hometown, and STILL don't agree, then you don't sound like a very Read More
