What BestPlaces Users Say about Franklin

Franklin, Kentucky is a small town located in Simpson County, known for its historical significance and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities. With a population of around 8,000 people, Franklin offers a close-knit community feel and a lower cost of living compared to nearby cities. However, as with any place, living in Franklin has its pros and cons. In order to gain a better understanding of what it's like to live in this particular place, I have included and summarized several user reviews from BestPlaces.net.

1) From "Linda R.": "I have lived in Franklin for over 20 years and have loved every minute of it. The people here are friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of local events and festivals to keep you entertained. The cost of living is affordable, and the schools are top-notch. However, the job market is limited, so commuting to nearby cities may be necessary for some."

2) From "John S.": "I moved to Franklin a few years ago and I can honestly say it was the best decision I've made. The small town charm, combined with the beautiful parks and outdoor spaces, make it a wonderful place to raise a family. The only downside is the lack of diversity, but overall it's a safe and peaceful community."

3) From "Maria G.": "I've lived in Franklin my entire life and while I appreciate the sense of community, I do wish there were more job opportunities and things to do. It can feel a bit isolated at times, but that's what you get when you live in a small town. The cost of living is great though, and I plan on staying here for the long haul."

4) From "David K.": "I moved to Franklin for a job opportunity and while I enjoy the small town atmosphere, I do miss the amenities of a bigger city. The traffic can be frustrating at times, especially during the annual car show, but overall it's a friendly and peaceful place to live. Plus, the cost of living is a huge plus compared to where I used to live."
