Want to move back to Colorado Springs - 2/27/2023
Love Colorado Springs. Lived there 13 years owned a few houses in different areas and the north end is truly the nicest. Weather is dry without many bugs but can be bi-polar. One day cold, next day warm. Which we grew to love…except the hail storms. I looked at the weather in the summer afternoons and tried to be home in time for a storm to protect my car. We moved to another state last year and I seriously regret it. No place is perfect but there a bunch of great shopping, great weather, churches and friendly people overall..Hoping to go back soon, it was really home.  Read More

I stayed away from bad areas. I loved the incline, Pikes Peak. I wasn’t fond of the drug scene and homeless lurking. Village 7 turned out to be a bad spot. Murders, rapes and break ins. I moved towards Black Forest paid 800 for a room. Having roommates was wearing on me but it’s so unaffordable to rent apartment I found that out. I saw a car jacking, I saw high speed chase on Austin Bluffs I almost got hit. I saw two different people die from overdose in Manitou memorial park. Groceries sky high. Beer and wine unaffordable. Gas and car insurance high. Extensive hail damage. I lost my awe for Colorado Springs. I Read More
