What BestPlaces Users Say about Georgia
Georgia is a southern state known for its warm climate, diverse music scene, and historic landmarks. It is also home to several major cities, including Atlanta, Savannah, and Augusta. With such a diverse landscape and culture, Georgia is a popular place to live for people from all walks of life. However, like any other state, it has its share of pros and cons. In this summary, we will take a closer look at what real people have to say about living in Georgia, based on user reviews from the website BestPlaces.net. These reviews cover a variety of topics, including the cost of living, job market, and overall quality of life. Let's dive in and see what residents have to say about living in this particular place.
1. "I have lived in Georgia my whole life and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The cost of living is affordable and there are so many beautiful places to explore. I especially love the small towns and southern charm of places like Savannah and Macon." - Sarah J.
2. "Georgia is a great place to live if you're looking for a warm climate and a laid-back lifestyle. The job market is pretty good, especially in the larger cities. However, the traffic can be a nightmare and the cost of living is definitely on the rise." - Mark W.
3. "I moved to Georgia from New York and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The people here are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Plus, the cost of living is much more affordable. I also love that there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy, from hiking in the mountains to spending a day at the beach." - Emily G.
4. "I've lived in Georgia for over 20 years and it's been a great place to raise my family. The schools are good, the cost of living is reasonable, and there are plenty of job opportunities. However, I do wish there were more options for public transportation and the summers can be brutally hot and humid." - David M.
From these reviews, it's clear that Georgia offers a mix of positive and negative aspects for residents. Many people enjoy the affordability, warm climate, and friendly communities, while others mention concerns about traffic and the rising cost of living. Georgia is a real cool state! I was born and raised in California which is a big difference to Georgia. This is a pretty laid back and very affordable state. I see myself residing here for a while. There is alot of opportunity and the climate is tropical and pleasent, besides the humidity it is preety great. I would recommend Georgia to anyone looking for a new and exciting adventure! I can't finish this comment without saying if you come to Georgia you got to go to Atlanta! One of the best cities in America! God Bless you and I hope this helped

Thinking of moving to GA? - 5/26/2006
Try Jackson County. It is still rural (lots of trees and parks)yet it is only 15min to the mall. It is located 1hr northeast of ATL. The schools are good and the housing is still affordable. It is an up and coming county.
I am a local realtor and if you are looking to move here and need some assistance finding a home, let me know.
Good Luck.
