Review of Albuquerque, New Mexico

before you move here
Star Rating - 7/6/2008
be sure to do your "due diligence" and find out things i didnt before i moved here. first off, new mexico is the 47th WORST paid state in the country. and we have the highest gas prices. and the cost of living is not that low, at least not low enough to accomodate the payscale. to live in a decent neighborhood, be prepared to spend 1100 per month if you rent and pay about 185000 on a home if you buy. somewhere else in the country that might sound "ok", but look at the payscale first. on the good side, weather weather weather. and beautiful mountains...

Highest gas prices? Have you ever driven through AZ to that beautiful place called California? Gas prices here are a bargain! Count your blessings.
