Increase in some crimes in 2008

While by far the are is safe to live in there have been a variety of crimes within a mile lately. Twice women have been attacked by a male near the Landmark Mall. Once by Mark Center a cab was executed (via gun shot to the head) while stopped at a red light. While drastic those crimes are rare. Common crime is non-gang dilequancy crimes such as graffitti and cars getting stolen.
