Special Place to visit...

I highly recommend historic Alexandria as a place to visit and meander about, especially in Old Town. The prices are steep, but the genuine charm is almost unmatched in the nation. I love being near the water. It is definitely worth a leisurely visit several times over--an authentic tourist gem.
