Beautiful, safe and quiet - Ancram, NY

My rural town is beautiful, safe and quiet but costs are always increasing. Taxes and living costs in New York State are out of control. I am retired on a fixed tight income. Last year I spent almost $5000.00 for heating oil. I cannot continue to live here and pay NYS taxes. I am looking for other options and places to live.
