Arlington, VA is a wonderful beautiful place to live. Arlington's population exploded in the last five years. The housing market has grown every year and more so the past three; this year the market already is showing signs of getting where it should be and to exchange at much better prices. The only problem we have in Arlington is the city government out of reality, but we have no one else to blame but us the residents of Arlington for electing the very same people who are not in tune with reality. The police services are phenomenal, police officers are well educated and very honest, and I can tell you that the police in Arlington VA can be trusted do not feel the same way across the river. The fire department another outstanding service, wow these firefighters truly deserve the very best they can get. The fire department response is one of the very best in the country. Schools are not so good too many issues and way too many discontent; yes there is lots of potential but I have heard people who complain about the quality. We have very bad food stores, Giant and Safeway are not up to standards here in Arlington. We have a serious problem in Arlington the government does not take good care of our roads and there are road issues everywhere you drive, well almost everywhere. We have great hospitals and medical services all over the County of Arlington. The city employees are a 5 from 1 to 10 and 10 being the best. The government has refused for many years to re do a main street, which leads to Washington DC and creates a third world avenue for ugliness; Columbia Pike is full of accidents and poorly maintained, very bad traffic signals and directions. People in Arlington are for the most part very nice but do not get involved enough to make a great city and to make a much better government officials cabinet responsible for what they do. If you are willing to put up with a bit too many people and do not mind a not so great politicians, bad roads, and somewhat high prices in real estate come on down we want you here, it is nice!
