Bugs and Heat

This city is humid throughout the summer with mosquitos that graze at dusk. Fall and spring can be lovely with mild to crisp temperatures. Winter is rarely bitterly cold; it generally does not dip below the 20s. Snow on the ground completely melts within four days on average. Hail storms are rare. We do get one hailstorm per year in the summer that lasts about 10 minutes. I have heard tornado warnings, but so far they have not made an appearance. (They probably stay away because of the high cost of living!!) If you like the kind of weather that Hawaii is noted for (the kind that you don't even feel because it is so perfect!), Arlington has that weather ... for about three weeks a year.
