Bartow Needs A Renovation

I lived in Bartow for a year and a half before moving to Lakeland. The town seems so oppressed. The housing market is costly–$140,000 is the average price for a brick and mortar home that will need a LOT of work–and the job market is horrible. The average pay is around $31,000. The high school and middle school are in dire need of a change. Most sophomores can't even do basic multiplication/division. Of course, this isn't so much the fault of the teachers as it is the school board. The town doesn't offer too much to do other than Mary Holland Park and a handful of stores such as Walmart, Lowe's, Publix, etc. The cost of electricity is through the roof as Bartow buys their electricity through Lakeland.
