I've lived here about 3 years. I was looking for a slower pace of life after retiring, which Battle Ground has. The first 2 years I lived here I would have given it 5 stars, as it seemed to be just right for me. Unfortunately, there is a strong super right political faction here. The founder of the Proud Boys, a radical right group, lives here, and there is a air of tension and intimidation I find very frightening. I am considering moving at this time. I wish I could have found this information when I was looking at moving here. Hopefully, this will help others in making their decision.
