Review of Bellevue, Ohio

the positives of Bellevue
Star Rating - 12/23/2009
After reading the negatives about Bellevue I thought you better hear some good things. For a community of its size Bellevue is way ahead of the game, even with the negatives that you have sited on your web page. Our community just passed a school levy that enables us to qualify for state aide to build a new elementary and middle school. The community continually helps the needy with a clothing closet and a food pantry. Bellevue has a United Selective Fund that helps organizations in the community. We have a state of the art community theater, which hosts a children's, teen and young adult productions along with music lessons from an area college. Our recreation department has activities for all ages from pre-school to senior citizens. Our library is part of the Clevnet system and promotes many activities for all ages in the community. We have a very active Kiwanis, Rotary, and Lions clubs. Our ministerial group is very active and helps the needy in the community. Our Downtown Development group is working hard to revitalize the city. We have 5 major highways that go through Bellevue Rte.s 20, 269, 4, 113, 18. We have a major hub for Norfolk and Southern RR. We are I think the only city in 4 counties, Erie, Sandusky, Huron and Seneca. We are part of the western reserve and the western edge of the Firelands. We have Historic Lyme Village, Rail road Museum, Sorrowful Mother Shrine and the Tremont House as tourist sites Bellevue is a great place to live and visit. I know there are many more positive things to say about Bellevue. I hope you publish this along with the other statistics. I urge you to come to Bellevue for a visit. Thank you, Jan Scagnetti
