I live in Pullman, WA and I call Bellingham everyday and visit there frequently for work. I have to tell you guys this town is so pompous, so full of itself, it is the rudest city I have ever been to. Everyone walks around thinking that the world revolves around them. They need to get out and see what the rest of the country thinks about the NW, NW. It is a nice town, too many Cali's have driven the prices up. Maybe the arrogance of Bellingham will be broken when the market correction comes and lots of people loose money. Just wait whatcom county, after 2010, the inevitable crash is coming. Maybe that will cool your jets.

I beg to differ about the "rudeness" and people being "full of themselves" in Bellingham. The people are very laid back and polite.

Californians wouldn't have to move to Washington if so many Washintonians didn't move to California (it is not called Cali by anyone, by the way) The State of California is over-whelmed with transplanted people, that's why we want to get away, too many Oregonians, Ohians and whatever! Go away and we'll stay put, otherwise we're sick of all the dam people!
