Boise is like a suburb of a big city. But the problem is there is no big city. The growth in that area has been so fast that the cities have had no time to catch up. The traffic is horrible. The school systems are overwhelmed. The teacher's act like they hate their job's. The student are way behind academically in comparison to the rest of the united states. I think Boise is a great place to live if your LDS (Morman)if your not don't ever expect to have social neighbors. Boise at times can be very boring. It needs some new attractions. If you love the outdoors you are in luck. Just head up to Cascade (2 hours away) for some mountain views and camping.
