FROM CALIFORNIA - STEP BACK IN TIME TO A BETTER WA

Why move to Boise (or surrounding cities Meridian, Eagle, etc)? There is
something for anyone of any age. Buy a new 2006 built home, approx 2000 sf, for a little over $200K! Don't be shocked when almost EVERYONE treats you like a close member of their community. News Note: Idaho Film Studios
is supposed to begin building on 159 acres. Boise State students are to be trained as apprentices in the film industry. Need I say anything about Boise State Broncos and the Fiesta Bowl? You will love the community support of its young adult members. Great entertainment, live theater, excellent cinemas, a downtown that is actually alive with community members, i.e., college kids, older people walking their dogs! Yes, the crime rate is below national average. Went floating on Boise River, it was gorgeous! Micron and HP are large employers; very low unemployment rate. Very pleased w/medical care: both medical doctors we use are from California (San Diego and Pacific Palisades-one left CA because HMOs would not allow them to property treat their patients). Of course, no place is perfect: it can get cold in winter, not really any snow or rain, known as "banana belt" of Idaho" - People drive slower here, so patience is a must. Overall, Boise, ID gets an "A"!
