It's okay

I lived in Boise for 2 years after living in Seattle, Houston, Colorado Springs, and Salt Lake City. Boise was actually my least favorite city, not that it's a bad place but compared to the other cities, I just prefer the others better. I felt the way the city is growing, they were only expanding on one side of the city almost all the traffic was going the same way. I didn't like smelling cows everyday and got bored with the one good mall in the whole city. I had a hard time finding a job there and when I did, the pay was a lot lower than what I'm used too. I felt the summers were long and hot (it stays light until like 10:00 pm) and the winters were gloomy. Not as gloomy as Seattle, but at least in Seattle you have pretty trees and water too look at. In Boise you have farm after subdivision after farm w/ not many trees (which is funny because it's suppose to be the city of trees but it's not). A previous post stated that Garden City was the slum of the city and I agree with that. If I had to live there again, I'd live in the Eagle area. I moved from Boise 3 years ago and moved to Denver and I totally came alive. I LOVE that city! But my husbands job took us away from Denver and now we are in Palm Springs, CA. I Like it here too but would like to get back to Denver. Boise is not bad but it's not great either (in my opinion). It's just a little blah. I like the outdoors too but it just wasn't for me...and I'm a newlywed getting ready to start my family.
